Arrive Vancouver
Welcome to
Vancouver! A Limousine transfer has been arranged to the
Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle. Your hotel puts you in the heart
of the city and the view from your room offers spectacular views of
Vancouver’s inner harbor and the North Shore Mountains.

Day 2 –
Vancouver
This morning
we have arranged a city sightseeing tour. When ever possible we use the
convenient Double Decker “hop-on hop-off” tour with stops at 21
attractions and sites, including Robson Street, Stanley Park, Canada
Place, Granville Island, Yaletown, Chinatown and Gastown.

Day 3 - Rocky
Mountaineer GoldLeaf Service Vancouver to Kamloops (Breakfast, Lunch &
Dinner)
An early
morning is in order, and we have arranged for a limousine to pick you up
at the hotel and take you to the rail station where the
Rocky
Mountaineer staff will welcome you and assist with your check
in arrangements. As GoldLeaf passengers, you have confirmed seating in the
Dome Car with elegant hot meal service in the lower level dining room.
Breakfast and lunch are served aboard the train and the meals get rave
reviews! Your journey takes you through the fertile fields of the Fraser
River Valley and the towering peaks of the Coastal Mountains, before
entering the Fraser Canyon and viewing the raging turbulence of Hell’s
Gate. You follow the Fraser River through beautiful landscapes to Kamloops
for an overnight stay with dinner at your hotel. The Rocky Mountaineer
staff will provide transfers between the train and your hotel.

Day 4 – Rocky
Mountaineer GoldLeaf Service Kamloops to Banff (Breakfast & Lunch)
Continue your
journey eastward to the Canadian Rockies. First you will travel through
vast ranchlands to Shuswap Lake. Next pass Craigellachie, where the "last
spike" was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885. Beyond
Craigellachie is Rogers Pass with its tunnels, glistening glaciers and
snow capped-mountains. Before crossing over the Continental Divide into
Banff
National Park, the train will travel through the unique Spiral Tunnels
a remarkable engineering achievement. Once again breakfast and lunch will
be served in the GoldLeaf dining room. When you arrive in Banff, the
Rimrock
is just a short taxi ride from the rail station.

Day 5 - Banff
Bring your
camera, as your “Discover Banff” tour takes you to the sightseeing
highlights of this area; Your day includes Bow Falls, Hoodoos, Surprise
Corner, the
Cave and Basin where Banff’s history began as well as a
gondola ride to the top of
Sulphur Mountain.
This afternoon is at leisure to explore Banff’s many boutiques and shops.

Day 6 – Banff
to Lake Louise
This morning
meet your driver and say goodbye to Banff as you get ready for a
sightseeing day filled with towering peaks, rushing streams and thundering
waterfalls. A highlight of this day is a visit to the
Columbia
Icefields for a ride on a specially constructed sno-coach.
When you tour by private car, you can pack a multitude of sightseeing
treasures into a day. Your driver knows the history, the people, and the
geology of the area. Sharing special places brings a great deal of value
to this day. When you arrive at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise,
your driver will assist with your check in arrangements.
