
Day 1 - Arrive Vancouver
Welcome to
Vancouver. Your package includes a transfer from the airport
to your hotel. The
Marriott Pinnacle or the
Renaissance Vancouver Harbourside puts you in the heart of the
city, close to shops and restaurants.

Day 2 – Vancouver to Victoria
This morning your motorcoach will be driven aboard a
modern BC Ferry
for a cruise through the Strait of Georgia to
Vancouver Island.
Your first stop is
Butchart Gardens, so bring your camera. No picture quite
prepares you for the size and abundance of these glorious gardens.
Victoria's historic waterfront is your next stop and your hotel is just a
short distance from this hub of activity.

Day 3 – Victoria
Victoria
has numerous endearing qualities, but the one you will remember
longest is the warmth and kindness extended by everyone you meet. Enjoy
your day in this city filled with flowers and charming people.

Day 4 – Victoria to Qualicum Beach
Although the trip is only 4 hours, VIA Rail’s
Malahat travels through beautiful scenery. When you arrive in
Qualicum
Beach, you will be delighted with the many activities
available in this lively beach community.

Day 5 – Qualicum Beach to Port Hardy
Vancouver Island is a beautiful place. This morning is
yours to enjoy as you depart on the daily coach that provides services to
the many small communities between Qualicum Beach and Port Hardy. You are
scheduled to arrive into
Port Hardy
late afternoon.

Day 6 – Cruise the Inside Passage to Prince Rupert
An early morning is in order as the ferry departs at
7:30AM. Once on board, you have access to the many lounges and
restaurants. We will whenever possible, confirm seating for you in the
reserved lounge. The trip is about 15 hours, so you have ample time to
look for wildlife along the way. You are scheduled into
Prince
Rupert at 11:30PM.

Days 7 & 8 – Prince Rupert
Prince Rupert offers an array of ways to touch nature.
It has the feel of a place where people know and care about their
neighbors, and it isn’t too hard to imagine a moose walking down main
street. The Crest Hotel is just delightful, built right at the water's
edge. It offers an array of ocean views.
Cow
Bay is a must see with great bovine decorating ideas at every
turn. Fish lovers will find that the halibut is so fresh and delicious,
you will want it for every meal. Try the fish and chips at the Peg Leg
Café for lunch.

Day 9 – Prince Rupert to Prince George Aboard the
Skeena
VIA Rail offers
Totem Deluxe with seating in all-domed, viewing cars. We
believe that these special cars, along this unique route make it one of
the best rail values in the world. Your train departs at 8:00AM and
arrives at 8:10PM, so you have a full day of scenic delights. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner are included and will be served at your seats.

Day 10 – Prince George to Jasper Aboard the Skeena
Today you depart on the Skeena for
Jasper
at 8:00AM. You will arrive at 4:45PM. Breakfast and lunch are served
aboard the train. When you arrive in Jasper, pick up your rental car and
go to your hotel.

Consider a visit to secluded
Maligne Lake,
the drive is beautiful.

Lake Louise
Today you travel through some of the most beautiful
vistas found anyplace on the globe. A stop at the awesome Athabasca
Glacier for an Ice Explorer ride is highly recommended.

Day 13 - Lake Louise to Banff
Banff
is a picture postcard of the Canadian Rockies. Be sure you see Bow Falls,
the
Cave and Basin, Tunnel Mountain and take a gondola ride up the
side of
Sulphur Mountain.

Day 14 – Banff
You are never at a loss for things to do in Banff. The
town is filled with delightful shops and boutiques. Mother Nature’s
handiwork is everywhere you look. You will soon see why Banff has
developed from a railroad stop, to one of the best known resorts in the
world.

Day 15 – Banff to Calgary
