Get a taste of the Maritimes with your self drive tour of Nova Scotia, Cape Breton and Prince Edward Island.

Welcome to Halifax! Your rental car will be ready for pick up at the
Halifax Airport. Our choice of the Delta Halifax lets you enjoy delightful

Today you might consider a visit to one of the Maritimes sightseeing
treasures. You can visit Peggy’s Cove, Canada’s most photographed fishing
village. Or visit “New Scotland” Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Lunenburg is home
to Nova Scotia’s largest fishing fleet, Lunenburg Academy, extraordinary
architecture, supreme shops and more. From Lunenburg, continue with a drive to
Mahone Bay, famous for its churches along the shore and its picturesque
beauty. There will be plenty of time for exploring these remarkable seaside
towns.

Today as you travel to beautiful Cape Breton, the wind may carry a Celtic
tune. Plan a stop at the Alexander Graham Bell Park in Baddeck. Watch for bald
eagles along the Bras d’Or Lakes.

The Cabot Trail needs a full day. Enjoy breathtaking seascapes and
experience the warmth and pride of these highland people.

Today you are off to the Emerald Isle, home to Anne of Green Gables as well
as some of the most charming people in the world. As you have the benefit of
frequent ferry service between Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, you can
relax and enjoy the sights.
Overnight - The Great George
Prince Edward Island has wonderful beaches. The north shore is warmed by
the water of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and boasts 60-foot dunes. The south
shore has red sand and calm waters, perfect for swimming or paddling. The
island is also the birthplace of the Confederation and visitors can enjoy
Province House, the site of the first discussions leading to the formation of
Canada.
